Suicide thrives in silence. The more it's whispered, avoided, or shamed, the more powerful it becomes. Mental Health First Aid Israel is committed to breaking that silence—bringing suicide into open, informed conversation.

MHFA training demystifies suicide. Participants learn that suicidal thoughts are more common than we think, that most people who experience them do not die, and that talking about it openly does not increase risk—it decreases it.

Volunteers are taught to ask directly: "Are you thinking about ending your life?" This question, delivered with care, can be profoundly relieving. It says, "You can tell me the truth."

Silence kills. Conversation saves.
