Mental Health First Aid Israel calls this high-functioning trauma—the ability to maintain external competence while experiencing internal collapse.

These individuals are often the last to seek help because they don't fit the stereotype of "someone in crisis." Yet they may be at high risk for burnout, depression, or sudden breakdown.

MHFA training teaches volunteers to look beyond appearances. "You seem to be handling everything so well—how are you really doing?"
